As part of the preparation for the next World Day of the Poor 2020, in order to better celebrate this remarkable day for us, our President General, Renato Lima de Oliveira, has been designated by the Vincentian Family to coordinate the process of choosing a concrete activity or event to be carried out on that day, in partnership with all the branches of the Vincentian Family.

As Pope Francis said: “I wanted to offer to the Church the World Day of the Poor, a concrete sign of Christ’s charity for those most in need”.

So we would be very grateful if you could send suggestions to the General Council – cgi.admin@ssvpglobal.org, of activities or events to be carried out by our conferences, councils and special works.

Please send your suggestions before March 31, 2020.
