Congratulations to Ellen Schryburt who received the Lieutenant Governor’s Outstanding Achievement Medal. The Lieutenant Governor awards this medal in recognition of the outstanding achievements of a person or organization. More than 40 years of volunteering with the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul: Amélie’s Boutique (Thrift Store), Rosalie’s Food Bank, and an organization that welcomes immigrants in eastern Montréal. Ellen was President of the National Council of Canada from 1995 to 2001.
