The National Council of Canada provides leadership, technical assistance, management training, and resource development to support the growth and health of the Society’s councils, conferences, and Special Works (initiatives). This form of support maximizes the groups’ ability to serve their communities effectively, using their own resources. Local councils and conferences also use the assistance to develop and promote innovative strategies that identify and address social justice issues and assist persons in need in the best way possible.
