The Atlantic Regional Council is made up of fifty-five conferences across Atlantic Canada.
In New Brunswick, we have a very active conference in Moncton.
PEI has five conferences, St Paul’s in Summerside, St Francis of Assisi in Cornwall, Holy Redeemer in Charlottetown, St Pius X and St Dunstans also in Charlottetown.
In Stellarton NS, we have Our Lady of Lourdes Conference. This conference is very busy and serves a large area.
Cape Breton Island has two particular councils.
Halifax Particular Council www.ssvphalifax.ca represents 16 conferences serving the central region of mainland Nova Scotia. Halifax Particular Council supports an Outreach Office (902) 422-2049 and two Special Works; Hand in Hand, a thrift store and Hope Cottage www.hopecottage.ca in downtown Halifax which provides free meals twice a day to those in need.
Halifax Particular Council serves the following areas: the Halifax side of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Lunenberg County, Colchester County, the Town of Amherst, and the areas surrounding Wolfville.
In Newfoundland, the St. Johns Particular Council is doing wonderful work.
