Atlantic Regional Council
Welcome to the Atlantic Regional Council
The Atlantic Regional Council of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul proudly serves communities across Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
Through local Conferences and Councils, dedicated Vincentian volunteers work in their own communities to provide person-to-person assistance to neighbours experiencing poverty, hardship, and crisis. While each Conference responds to the unique needs of its local community, we are united by a common mission: to serve with compassion, dignity, respect, and hope.
From urban centres to rural communities, Vincentians across Atlantic Canada provide a wide range of supports, including food assistance, emergency financial aid, furniture and household items, outreach programs, community meals, thrift stores, and many other local initiatives designed to meet the needs of those we serve.
Our strength lies in our local presence. Each Conference knows its community best and works directly with individuals and families facing challenges close to home. The services and supports available may vary depending on local resources and volunteer capacity, but throughout the region we share a commitment to doing everything we can to help our neighbours in need.
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul has a long history of serving those who are vulnerable, marginalized, or struggling through difficult circumstances. Every day, Vincentians across Atlantic Canada answer calls for help, offer friendship and encouragement, and walk alongside people with compassion and understanding.
Whether through a home visit, a food hamper, assistance with a utility bill, a warm meal, or simply a listening ear, our volunteers strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they encounter.

Serving Atlantic Canada Together
Every day, Vincentians across Atlantic Canada put faith into action by serving their neighbours with compassion, respect, and hope. Together, we continue to build stronger communities and respond to those most in need, one person, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.
