Since October 2023, the Trinity Conference of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul has contributed $400 monthly to purchase milk for children in a chain of solidarity with the Partage Vanier Food Bank.
This type of collaboration is welcomed and desired by the Partage Vanier Food Bank. “We benefit from this type of agreement of predictability, regularity, and quality with our clients who use the Partage Vanier Food Bank,” said Jean-Michel Rousseau, Partage Vanier coordinator.
“A big thank you to the members of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul for this kind gesture. We appreciate and accept any food or monetary donation that helps purchase food.”
In January 2025, the Trinity Conference increased the monthly amount to $500. Partage Vanier uses these funds to provide milk to more than 125 children every month.
Solange Fortin, President of the Conference, says, “In the current context, we believe we can make a real difference. With this donation we are pleased to make life easier for Vanier families who need to use the Partage Vanier food bank.”
